Singapore Global Dialogue

Next week, the Nanyang Technological University is hosting the Singapore Global Dialogue, an update of security matters for Southeast Asia. I'm happy that Barry Desker invited me to attend it. I hope to learn a lot from these experts.

Cory Aquino

When I learned about the passing away of Cory Aquino, our beloved President, I spent a lot of time praying for her and for the Filipino nation. I prayed to the Sto. Nino de Cebu and Our Lady of Guadalupe. She will be sorely missed.

Annual Seminar

I am currently enjoying a professional seminar in Laguna. Yesterday we went to IIRI. I learned all about rice and the production that goes with it. The IIRI staff were very amiable. Iplan to bring all my students there so they can learn also.

Farewell to a Mentor

I would like to thank Br. Rafe Donato, my mentor and my friend for his lasting impact in my life. I met Bro. Rafe when I was in Grade Six at the Andres Soriano Memorial School. He was a very jolly La Salle Brother who wanted to talk to children. He asked me about my studies and my parents. It was the start of a friendship that spanned for 23 years. He guided me through my growing years. When he passed away last November 2, 2006, I thanked God for giving him to us.
